Jaysen Paulson

Jaysen Paulson is a practicing astrologer, health educator, community organizer, speaker and teacher. Raised in Detroit, he began studying astrological basics in 1995. His professional background was in Retail Management, Restaurant Management and Business Ownership until 2009, when he decided to leave the professional world to go back to school and to develop his astrological practice and community.
Since 2011, JayP has been active in the Astrology community, working for Find An Astrologer.com, Oregon Astrological Association, AFAN (Association For Astrological Networking), Queer Astrology Conference, Steven Forrest, Erin Sullivan, Madeline Gerwick and launched his long-running and highly-subscribed spiritual, wellness and astrologically-focused podcast Cosmophilia. JayP's primary interest in the diverse field of Astrology lie in Health, Wellness, Nutrition and Western Herbal Medicine, Medical Astrology is his passion. He has studied with Remedialist Andrea L. Gehrz, Medical Astrologer and researcher Judith Hill and Hellenistic Astrologer Demetra George.
JayP has formally studied Japanese language at Hokkaido University, Western Herbal Medicine at Elderberry School of Botanical Medicine and The Traditional School of Western Herbalism with Matthew Wood, Astrology at Kepler College, completed a B.S. in Public Health: Community Health Education from Portland State University and is currently studying at Blue Iris Mystery School with Colette Gardiner, with an expected graduation in 2018.
When he is not busy, he enjoys bike rides, creative cooking, touching plants, spiritual explorations, connecting with strangers and petting his cat Lola, who both live in Northeast Portland. He is currently co-writing a book with PSA teacher Jen Gouvea titled 'Plants & Planets: Herbal Medicine, Flower Essences and Astrology.'

Rhea Wolf

Rhea Wolf is feminist, witch and astrologer whose life purpose is to help people awaken their inherent creativity, activate their authentic selves and deepen their connections to the larger world. Rhea is motivated by a vision of an emerging culture based on respect, beauty, justice and relatedness.
Rhea Wolf has been a workshop facilitator for fifteen years, bringing creative writing, theater arts and The Work that Reconnects to a variety of groups, including at-risk youth and women in prison. After her Saturn Return, she began her journey as a professional astrologer and a mother of two daughters. Rhea has worked as the Program Coordinator for Write Around Portland and was a performing artist and teacher with Sowelu Ensemble Theater. Rhea has a BFA in Theater Performance from Wichita State University. In addition, she has studied theater and deep ecology at the Naropa Institute, and trained extensively with world-renowned author Joanna Macy. After 4½ years of intensive study, she graduated from Colette Gardiner's Blue Iris Mystery School in 2009.
Rhea is the author of The Light That Changes: The Moon in Astrology, Stories and Time. Her articles have appeared in The Mountain Astrologer, hipMama, Perspectives and VoiceCatcher. For the past seven years, she has offered workshops on astrology, spirituality and creativity to groups large and small throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Rhea’s passion for astrology began in childhood when she was given an impromptu tutorial of the zodiac by her hippie teen-aged babysitter. She remembers feeling a sense of wonder and also familiarity. Since then, she's devoured countless books on astrology and has received training and guidance from astrologers such as Demetra George, Emily Trinkaus and Steven Forrest. Rhea brings her love of the Earth, the spirit of wonder and her desire to deepen relationships to all that she does. She enjoys helping people find ways to claim more beauty and magic in their daily lives.

Andrea L. Gehrz

Andrea L. Gehrz is an astrological scholar. Andrea has been a practicing astrologer and psychic channel for over 10 years and has lectured to countless groups on the uses and mechanism of Astrology. Andrea regularly reads the Ephemeris, hand draws charts, reads the bible in ancient Greek, hosts her radio show the Astrological Detective, and teaches Astrology to anyone who will listen. A Kepler College graduate, she has spent her time reading and translating ancient Greek astrological texts in order to bring back the ancient and magical study of Astrology.
Andrea spends her days writing and running the Moira Press, a publishing company dedicated to the resurrection of ancient knowledge of all kinds. Here, she has published Astrological Remediation: A Guide for the Modern Practitioner, A Wonderbook of True Astrological Case Files (co-authored along with Judith Hill), and her own English rendering of Vettius Valens: Book Two.
Andrea loves doing consultations as well as astrological research, and her current interests are astrological remediation, the astrology of relationships, children’s readings, addiction relief through astrology, and the intricate timing of everyday life in order to optimize the energies of the chart. Andrea Gehrz is also a musician, sign language interpreter and a mama, currently living in North Portland.

Carol Ferris, MA

Carol Ferris is an astrologer with a full-time consulting practice in Portland, Oregon with decades of experience. Her introduction to, and subsequent study of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) philosophy led to a Masters Thesis from Marylhurst University in 2013. Titled "The Sky's Body: Constellations and Medicine," it delineates the relationship of the macrocosm of the heavens to the microcosm of the body in both western and Chinese cultures.
Carol tutors private students in astrological practice; teaches private classes in her home; has taught and lectured at both NCNM (National College of Natural Medicine, Portland) and OCOM (Oregon College of Oriental Medicine); and has presented at academic conferences.

Corina Dross

Corina Dross is an artist, writer, astrologer, and rabble-rouser. Raised by an artist mother who taught her about astrology and the subtle realms, she spent most of her childhood a little out of step with the others kids, except for a shared obsession with drawing horses. As an adult she pursued academia and activism until a long Pluto transit deepened her relationship with transformation; she then began working more seriously with subtle energy and healing. She taught an introductory astrology course in Philadelphia for five years before relocating to Portland to apprentice with Emily Trinkaus of Virgo Magic.
As a consulting astrologer, she uses unique imagery to help clients reclaim their connection to the whole and their personal authority. As an artist she is best known for her illustrated deck of talismans, Portable Fortitude, which is sold both online and in stores nationwide. She writes both fiction and non-fiction and is active in the zine community, where her zine PANIC has been included in Microcosm's annual Zine Yearbook. She is also the author of Echo Chamber an illustrated collection of updated Greek myths, available in several independent bookstores and Multnomah County Library.
Corina is dedicated to naming, reclaiming, and celebrating all the ways we find liberation and healing. With a strong ninth house emphasis, she is grateful for all opportunities to teach, learn, and travel.

Lauren Sage Balin first became interested in astrology in the 1970's. Over the years she learned from a variety of talented astrologers, most recently receiving a Certificate in Evolutionary Astrology from Steven Forrest. Lauren Sage Balin also has a degree in Humanistic/Transpersonal Psychology and a Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University, and was a teacher for two decades. Now, Lauren has a full time astrology practice and lives in Southwest Portland. Consultations, classes, and workshops are the synthesis of many years of study, continued professional growth and experience in the field of psychological and spiritual astrology.

Christine Cook

Christine Cook is an eclectic astrologer who draws from many different sources to read a chart – myth, fairy tales, and Jungian philosophy among them. She has a BA in Philosophy from Yale University. She helped start an after school program in her children’s elementary school – Above and Beyond - and taught in the Art in the Classroom program and the Mill River Project an ecological program. She was a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner.
Serendipitous meetings brought her to a Goddess Group led by Jungian therapist and author, Kathie Carlson and then finding the NCGR astrological meetings in Westport, Connecticut. All these themes have played a part in how she views astrology. As well as attending a multitude of workshops, she has studied with Rhea Wolf, Robert Corre, Dawn Bodrogi and has completed Emily Trinkaus’ Alcyone School Apprenticeship Program. She has also studied Runes with Ingrid Kincaid.
Christine has become a SoulCollage® facilitator and enjoys seeing the astrological themes that are at play in the SoulCollage® cards. Christine lives in Portland with her soccer star border collie Orla.

Aubrie De Clerck is a career coach and astrologer who helps people open doors to a lifetime of fulfilling work. Known for being highly inspirational and deeply practical, she delights in bridging two of her favorite tools and worlds in a way that opens up possibilities.
Her own connection to astrology happened in her late 20’s, when she found that every part of her life being turned upside down was no accident and wasn’t forever - it was her Saturn Return. Since then, astrology has given Aubrie comfort in the unknown and an avenue for greater self acceptance, things she loves bringing to her clients as well.
As a career coach, Aubrie has over 9 years of experience in corporate, non-profit and education environments and is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. As an astrologer, she is proud to have completed an apprenticeship with Emily Trinkaus at The Alcyone School for Engaged Astrology. Aubrie was featured in Willamette Week’s 2012 Best of Portland as “Best Cosmic Career Coach” and named of one of the 100 Most Powerful Women 2007 by Northwest Women’s Journal. She works full time in her private practice, Coaching for Clarity, in Portland, OR and is available to work with clients and give talks/workshops in any location.
