Teacher
JP Hawthorne is a magically trained community herbalist, and the founder and teacher of the largest astrology school in the United States — the Portland School of Astrology in Oregon. Beginning his journey with astro in the ‘90’s, his work with Cosmophilia connects people with both earth and sky, including a line of Astrological Herbals. JP holds a degree in Public Health and is currently writing the first complete text on Astro Herbalism and recently finished his 5th year at the Blue Iris Mystery School.
JP has worked for various astrologers/organizations including the Oregon Astrological Association and AFAN and been featured at the Portland Art Museum, Portland State University, Reed College, Nike, Marriott Hotels, Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine, several astrology and herbal medicine conferences, numerous venues and websites, radio and tv spots.
