You may be an ideal candidate for an upcoming scholarship with the Portland School of Astrology
Announcing the Accessibility Scholarship through the Jen Gouvea Memorial Fund for the upcoming school year. We are offering three $500 scholarships toward the tuition of the 1st-Year Program and a $500 scholarship toward the tuition for the 2nd-Year Program for people who identify in marginalized communities in Portland or surrounding Portland areas. Information about applying for a scholarship for our Low Residency program will come out later this fall.
Requirements when applying for the scholarship:
Applicants must be able to attend the entire 1st-Year Program, double check all upcoming dates. 2nd-Year Students must have a solid intention in completing the year.
Applicants must live in the greater Portland, Oregon area and be attending an in-person cohort.
Applicants must identify as a member of a community that is largely marginalized or disenfranchised.
Applicants must apply to the 1st-Year Program and attend an information session. 2nd-Year applicants are exempt.
Favorable consideration for:
Applicants who have a clear vision of what they want to do with knowledge learned from PSA, after completing the program.
June 1st, 2019 Application period is open for the Jen Gouvea Memorial Scholarship for the next school year.
July 31st, 2019 Last day to apply for the scholarship by midnight.
August 16th, 2019 Recipient and all applicants will be notified before this date.
