Enrollment to the Portland School of Astrology is contingent on a telephone interview with the administrator to determine if PSA and the potential student are a good fit. Space for the 1st-Year Program is limited.

Upon acceptance, a non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot, due within 14 days. (If the program start date is 30 days or less from when the student enrolls, the deposit is due as soon as possible.) The deposit will count toward your total tuition.

  1. Please fill out the enrollment form below.
  2. Please select an upcoming time slot for interview via Doodle Poll link
  • DO NOT select a time that someone else has already selected.
  • DO NOT select multiple times. Only ONE slot.
  • Be sure to have the enrollment form filled out beforehand so we have your telephone number to call you. Please note the longer you wait, the less likely you are to secure a spot in the program.

3. Optional: if you have decided you are absolutely in, you may pay your deposit or full tuition amount online and/or purchase a required text by clicking on this link here.

PSA has a strong commitment to create safe space for our students, which includes but is not limited to a variety of ages, gender presentations, racial and ethnic makeup, religious backgrounds, etc. Are you comfortable learning in an environment of diversity and okay with the possibility of dealing with sometimes uncomfortable conversations?
PSA 1st-Year Program aims to embody astrology in many different ways. Do you have a fragrance allergy/intolerance? Do you have a food allergy/intolerance? Do you have an allergy to dogs or cats? Do you have movement limitations? Do you have any medical condition that we need to be aware of?
There is an existing PSA Student Group.
If you have not, please go back and read all about the program so that you feel comfortable with what we are teaching and how we are teaching it.
Would you be willing to donate to the Jen Gouvea Memorial Scholarship (JGMS) which helps students in marginalized and disenfranchised communities participate in the 1st-Year Program and other classes at PSA? The JGMS is also our principle funding source for our library that students are allowed to use.
PSA gives a higher discount to 1st-Year students who are interested in doing work-trade for classes in our Quarterly Term (this is not the 1st-Year Program). Are you interested in taking classes that are open to the public for a 40% work-trade discount?
